Nick Jones
Nick has worked in the marine industry for over 20 years and his passion for boating has only grown stronger in that time. Working across a vast range of roles from charter operations, service manager and then branch manager for one of Australia’s largest yacht importers has helped develop the knowledge he shares today while his hands on experience in commissioning and handing over boats allows the ability to offer practical advice to help his customers enjoy their boating.
Having built two successful businesses with wife Fiona ’Maintain my Boat’ and ‘Hidden Harbour Services’ it was only a matter of time to bring in a brokerage service which takes advantage of Nicks industry background and straight forward approach and so Inspire Marine was born to offer a complete service for boat owners.
A passionate sailor, Nick has taken part in plenty of regattas along with a handful of offshore races including a Sydney to Hobart. Racing is fun however coastal cruising is what really excites him. Nick and his young family have already had 3 east coast trips including an 8-month sail from Melbourne to Cairns. The family now sail their Adams 10 out of Safety Beach which is where you’ll find Nick and the family most weekends.
Fiona Jones
Fiona brings a wealth of industry experience along with management skills which keeps things on track and is vital in the success of businesses ‘Maintain my Boat’ and ‘Hidden Harbour Services’. Fiona is responsible for the leasing and selling of marina berths and has built a fantastic reputation thanks to her unmatched communication and honesty across all aspects. A quick meeting or phone call with Fiona and you will understand why she is so successful and respected.
Fiona loves sailing and has fulfilled one of her dreams by sailing to Cairns with the family along with several other offshore adventures. Being on the water is where she’s happiest and when dealing with customers she loves to hear of their boating plans and offer support and motivation to help make them happen. Until the next cruising adventure, she’s content racing her Adams 10 at Safety Beach with Nick and the kids.
Michelle McGee
Michelle is a ball of energy and absolutely loves the outdoors. With the expansion of our service offering, it was important to find the right person. Looking after the routine washes for our regular clients you’ll meet Michelle on the dock with a big smile on her face while keeping our customers boats in top condition. Michelle is also responsible for the presentation of our brokerage boats. Her attention to detail, efficient work pace and overall pride in her work ensures that your boat is always in its best shape.
