Nick has worked in the marine industry for over 20 years and his passion for boating has only grown stronger in that time. Working across a vast range of roles from charter operations, service manager and then branch manager for one of Australia’s largest yacht importers, has helped develop the knowledge he shares today. His background in commissioning and handing over boats, as well as his own personal cruising and racing experience enables him to offer practical advice to help his customers enjoy their boating to the maxiumum.
A passionate sailor, Nick has taken part in plenty of regattas along with a handful of offshore races including a Sydney to Hobart. Racing is fun however coastal cruising is what really excites him. Nick and his young family have already had multiple east coast trips including an 8-month sail from Melbourne to Cairns. The family now sail their Sydney 32 out of Safety Beach which is where you’ll find Nick and the family most weekends.
Having built two successful businesses with wife Fiona: ’Maintain my Boat’ and ‘Hidden Harbour Services’; it was only a matter of time to bring in a brokerage service which takes advantage of Nick’s industry background and straightforward approach, and so Inspire Marine was born to offer a complete service for boat owners.
