Introducing "Baruch" a 2019 Nautitech 542
For sailors and families seeking exceptional comfort and true bluewater performance, Baruch offers the perfect harmony of design, craftsmanship, and capability.
Lovingly maintained by her original owners, Baruch has enjoyed a life of careful ownership and thoughtful cruising. After spending her early years exploring the Mediterranean, she was shipped, not sailed to Australia, where she has since cruised the beautiful east coast. As a result, she has significantly fewer sea miles than most catamarans of her size and class.
Designed through the collaboration of Nautitech founder Bruno Voisard and renowned naval architect Marc Lombard, the Nautitech 542 embodies the ideal balance of effortless performance and intelligent design. Notably, Bruno built one for himself to enjoy the sailing lifestyle after selling Nautitech to the Bavaria Group, a testament to the model's quality and appeal. Built in a dedicated facility, these yachts are celebrated for their exceptional build standards and meticulous attention to detail.
She is not your average cruising catamaran. From her infused composite hulls to her elegant low-slung coachroof, every line has been drawn for efficiency and grace. Solid below the waterline and foam-cored above gives exceptional strength without unnecessary weight, keeping her light-ship displacement to around 14 and a half tonnes. The result is true sailing performance.
Baruch is easily sailed single handed thanks to her deck layout and deck hardware. Her full-batten, square-top mainsail and self-tacking jib deliver effortless power and balance. Offshore is where Baruch excels, she's been known to reach over 19 knots under main and jib alone, the kind of performance that turns ocean miles into memories.
But the Nautitech 542 is more than a sailor's machine. It's a home at sea.
Step through the wide sliding doors and you're greeted by a space that effortlessly connects cockpit and saloon. Natural light floods through panoramic windows, while the galley and dining area invite relaxed living and conversation.
Below deck, Baruch's layout combines elegance and practicality, spacious cabins, generous hull windows, and the comfort of home even in blue-water conditions. Every surface speaks of craftsmanship
Equipped with watermaker, generator, solar power, and ample tankage, Baruch is fully prepared for extended bluewater cruising, offering complete independence, safety, and comfort wherever your journey leads.
